Residence Notting Hill

A modern, cleanly designed villa painted in Navajo white with color accents of Indigo blue.
The villa has a clear, simple layout, with a spacious covered porch that is typical of tropical architecture. By opening the glass harmonica doors in the living room, one large area is created combining interior with the exterior.
The sloping roof was a construction requirement. By building the exterior elevations high enough, it is hidden from view. It appears as though the villa is a concatenation of abstract volumes with flat roofs.
Here too the design takes account of natural ventilation through the optimal positioning of the building and various rooms, and by creating openings in the elevations.
