Restoration

Landhuis Bloemhof, 2002

The landhuis and adjacent buildings have been restored whereby original elements were conserved as much as possible.  For example, the wooden dividing walls in the “mangazinas” were re-used and the yellow brick floors can still be seen. A mosaic of original Curaçao cement tiles decorates the guest toilet. The landhuis is now well known as an exhibition center, and there is an artist’s workshop.
